FOOTBALL TIME!

...We lost. No big deal! I did learn something though.
Your first BYU game is like your first Kiss, at first your so excited and think its going great! Then you realise wow this isn't a winner. But, you do not worry because there will be more and they can only get better!

Love being back!

My Ward went to our bishops cabin Friday night! It was so much fun. There was about 20 people from our ward there! I was so glad that I got to go. It was a giant sleepover. What was even better was there was no ronch stuff. It was very spiritual. I loved it so very much. We played capture the flag and hide n' seek, I bit it walking up the mountain in blackness of the night! I ate to many smores, sister peck made the best dinner and I'm pretty sure I can never eat again! This ward is so funny all we do is eat!

The bishop and his lovely wife kept up with us also. A small group of us had a discussion for over an hour...maybe 2, he and his wife staid the whole time to try and help us. I would say they went to bed around 4....and got up and made breakfast for everyone....amazing! We were all asleep by 5 and most were up at 9 not me though, I got up at 10:30 barely...and was soon rush out the door. I had so much fun! I cant wait to go back!

Words from a prophet

Yesterday My roommate and I got to go to a BYU devotional. Guess who was speaking? President Thomas S. Monson. It was awesome. The guy sure can speak! He told stories of the prophets be for him. The ones that served while he was alive. He had us laughing, crying and thinking what the heck?! On a serious note the spirit was so strong there. It was amazing to me that people got there at 7 in the morning just to get good seats. I was there an hour and a half be for it started, managed to get good seats but not like what I thought I was going to have. By 10 a.m. the right side of the Marriott was completely full. They opened up the other side and by the time it started there wasn't an empty seat in the house! It was almost like a concert, cameras flashing, people talking and folks asking everyone if "these seats were taken?". I loved it truly I did, to me it seemed like from his storied that he has been on the path to being the prophet his whole life. As though every decision he made led him closer and closer. It is amazing to, he is so in tune so inspiring. I hope to make it a point to see him at least once a year!
on another note, work, I like it, its quick but, I never want to see another pair of skinny jeans or plaid shirts the rest of my life! I think my eyes are going crazy.
