Words from a prophet

Yesterday My roommate and I got to go to a BYU devotional. Guess who was speaking? President Thomas S. Monson. It was awesome. The guy sure can speak! He told stories of the prophets be for him. The ones that served while he was alive. He had us laughing, crying and thinking what the heck?! On a serious note the spirit was so strong there. It was amazing to me that people got there at 7 in the morning just to get good seats. I was there an hour and a half be for it started, managed to get good seats but not like what I thought I was going to have. By 10 a.m. the right side of the Marriott was completely full. They opened up the other side and by the time it started there wasn't an empty seat in the house! It was almost like a concert, cameras flashing, people talking and folks asking everyone if "these seats were taken?". I loved it truly I did, to me it seemed like from his storied that he has been on the path to being the prophet his whole life. As though every decision he made led him closer and closer. It is amazing to, he is so in tune so inspiring. I hope to make it a point to see him at least once a year!
on another note, work, I like it, its quick but, I never want to see another pair of skinny jeans or plaid shirts the rest of my life! I think my eyes are going crazy.
